The events in my beloved Canada this past week have bewildered me, cut me to the core, as they have so many other Canadians. Yet, this Canuck has also been made so very proud of the indomitable instinct of Canadians to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. To act selflessly when there is need; to stand strong and not waver in the face of fear.
There was the only cover that meant anything to me and I felt compelled to design the entire thing. As a musician, as a photographer, as a Canuck. I can feel the music this cover was created for in my heart. The arrangement will never be heard outside my imagination, but it and this post are dedicated to those who stepped forward to give aid to two Canadian soldiers, to Cpl. Cirillo and Warrant Officer Vincent, and to those who did what needed to be done.

As a side note, the photograph for this cover art was taken during a visit to Juno Beach and Vimy Ridge several years ago. That journey touched me to my core. They, too, did what needed to be done.
Standing with you here in the States.
