I couldn’t stop myself

I had to find more decent descents.

We were at Tutbury Castle and as game as ever, she’d accompanied me to the top. She’s a brave girl and stone steps are not the type of rock she’s built to climb. Part way down, however, she has to catch her feet and re-assess the situation,”Do I assent to descend, or dissent and ascend?”

She paused (pawsed?) at the mid-point to see if there was any other way.

The bell tower on the church at Rye has a marvelously phobia inducing set of stairs. Once you get outside at the top, however, the views are incredible. I never expected to catch this gull descending below me.

A gull lands with angel's wings atop a church.

Another chance to see different descents is here.
