They happen everywhere and truth be told, my original thought for this week’s challenge was a bird or flower reflected in water. However, looking elsewhere, there are reflections everywhere. I couldn’t decide which of my two favourites I was going to post, so I’m posting both. One is, however, the actual answer to this week’s challenge.

I've taken this shot with a couple of my cameras now. This is my favourite of them.

This had an ISO of 200 and is a jpeg created from the tiff, from raw. The shutterspeed was 1/8 and I used F5.6 with a 50mm focal length.

When I looked at all my photos, this next was the clear winner for the week. I love how this turned out.

I walked into the kitchen yesterday morning and there it was. My shot.

This is ISO 200, with a focal length of 50mm, F5.6 and 1/2 shutterspeed. This is also a jpeg saved from the tiff/raw shot.

I work and fret and try to put together the perfect shot, but nine times out of 10, the best shots are the ones that present themselves to me. Listen to your gut in all things. It seldom steers you wrong. I just remembered it works for photography as well.
