This week’s challenge:  Our world is one defined by how we get around. Literal or interpretative, find inspiration in transportation.

There was only one place to go, to my mind; Sutton Cheney Wharf, where the canal boats gather.

I'd gone under the bridge to try a shot, turned around and saw this.

The challenge in this was to get the reflection of the water’s ripples on the underside of the bridge while maintaining the colour in the boats. I used F13, ISO 200, 1/125 shutter speed and 50mm focal length.

I love these boats, year-round homes for many, holiday homes for others. Later in the summer, many of them will have container gardens on the roofs with herbs, flowers and some veg.
