Portrait: Family Whether it’s the family you are born with or the one you choose, show the world what family is to you.

This one required a bit of a look inside. I am here with my family, but I have family back in Canada, and I have family I have chosen. This weekend, I had a chance to examine my family here and families in general when we visited the Gower Peninsula in South Wales with a family friend.

This week’s challenge photo is of a family we saw one evening in Mwmbwls (‘The Mumbles’ to the ever so posh). There is a vintage feel to it that I really enjoy.

A family exploring the sea floor by the boat slip, seeing what’s been left behind by the tide in the early evening sun. I remember exploring like this with my family, finding treasures that I would carry home in my pockets. Feeling kind of nostalgic now.
