Landscape: Nature up Close Get up close and personal with nature in this natural beauty shot. Flowers, bees, bugs and spiders might all make great shots

Mum and I were walking up a very steep hill with the dog, from the beach back to the cottage we’ve let for the week. It’s a very, very steep hill, so we stopped a fair bit to let the dog recover and get her wind as we climbed. That’s our story, anyway.

So, along the way, we saw late season blackberries ripening on one of our stops and I loved that they were in blossom, ripening and newly ‘berried’ all on one tuft.

Also, I love the pink.

The globe-like flowers are Ivy, I think. It was a wild jumble of growth by the walk. What a lovely way to catch’s one’s … um … for the dog to catch her breath.

Nature is my biggest inspiration, so this challenge wasn’t quite as challenging as some of the others. Still, I’m using skills that I’ve learned on other, more-difficult-for-me challenges. That feels good.
