Artistic: Minimalist Isolate your subject using the minimalist approach. Inspire someone with your art.

In true minimalist fashion, I only took one shot for this.

We were visiting the Old Post Office in Tintagel, a fabulous building that dates back hundreds of years. It’s run as a National Trust site and has been beautifully kept up. Originally, back in the 14th century, it was a yeoman’s farmhouse. Yeomen owned their land and farmed it themselves. In return, they provided protection for the nobility and were required to be proficient in use of the bow.

During the Victorian era, the house became the town’s post office for a time and it’s been known as that ever since.

I took this on a stairway that curved up to the first floor master bedroom. The light and shadow, the simplicity of it, caught me.

It makes me think of an oil painting. This is one of my favourite shots from this challenge, I think.
